Thursday 16 November. 6.30 p.m. for 7 p.m. Beerling Hall. History Talk on the St Radigund’s area by Clive Bowley, following his very much appreciated talks on Northern Canterbury and the Blackfriars area.
Thursday 5 October 6.30 p.m. for 7 p.m at Beerling Hall. SPRA Quiz Night, with Kevin Porée making a welcome return as Quizmaster. Please discuss this with your friends and consider making up a table of 6 – or just come by yourself (or selves) and we will find you intelligent and knowledgeable people to make up a team. The charge is £5 per person: there will be two bottles of wine on each table (and soft drinks available) and nibbles. Bring your own picnic if you think you may be hungry. Please let the Secretary know if you are coming.
Sunday 20 August 3 p.m: Visit to St John’s Hospital, which in addition to its modern accommodation for residents, has many medieval remains, including the seven-seater medieval latrines. The visit will be guided by Clive Bowley. We shall ask for a donation of £5 which will go towards providing amenities for the residents. Numbers are limited to 10, so if you wish to come, please reserve your place by contacting the Secretary.
Sunday 13 August 2.30 -3.30 p.m : informal get-together in Solly’s Orchard. Soft drinks provided. Includes a tour of the planting in Solly’s Orchard led by Geraldine Fish. Meet by the SPRA plaque.

St Peter’s Residents’ Association is proud to present Trio Lalique, three internationally acclaimed musicians and individual award winners of various major music competitions.
Ilya Kondratiev (piano) studied at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and is currently Piano Professor at The Royal College of Music, London. Yuri Kalnits (violin) studied at the Gnessin Institute for Musically Gifted Children and later at The Royal College of Music, London. He is a concerto soloist in high demand with many leading orchestras, both in the UK and abroad. Yuri is also the recipient of two prestigious Diapason d’Or awards for his recording of Weinberg’s Violin Sonatas. Julia Morneweg (cello) is both an orchestral player and soloist with leading orchestras. She is also one of London’s most sought after cello teachers. Both Yuri and Julia co-direct the highly successful London based ChamberMusicBox, which promotes chamber music across London, bringing together a collective of outstanding musicians.
